Drop shipping is a popular way to manage an Internet store or home business without having to store inventory. This method increases profits because the seller is not paying for storage or having to clear out inventory to make room for new shipments.

Open your web browser and begin looking at the different green cleaning products available for drop ship sales and the differences between one drop ship company and another.

Look at the options offered by wholesalers to join their drop ship business. A few things to consider are the delivery time from placement of order to the customer, cost of items per quantity and shipping fee, and if there are discount for large orders. Do they offer you images to place on your web page and if so is there an extra cost? When will the company bill you for payment?

Complete the application process, making sure to read any terms or conditions for working with the wholesaler. You can do this online or request the company mail the application to you. Many sites will have you fill out a registration form on their site, providing your name, address, telephone number and email, along with a short explanation of why you want to join their business. When accepted, some wholesalers offer advertising support because they know if your business is a success, this also makes them a success.

Post the green cleaning products on your web site or in brochures, providing the details of the products that the wholesaler provides, the price per item, and if possible an image of the product. Your customers can either click the item on your web page to make their purchase, or make their selection in the brochure and place their order directly to you with their payment.

Place your orders with the wholesaler either daily or weekly, depending on the volume and number of customers you are servicing. You want to order a lot at one time, since you are paying a drop ship fee.

Check back with your customers after they receive the merchandise to make sure they are satisfied with the products they purchased.
