This interactive content can be found in programs such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Media Center and Microsoft Office. SP3, otherwise known as Service Pack 3, is an update to the Windows Microsoft XP system. SP3 adds new features and fixes problems in previous versions of Windows XP. Under SP3, ActiveX can begin to experience errors. One such error occurs after installing the SP3 package. When you attempt to run the Remote Desktop Web connection, you may get the following message: "Remote Desktop Web Connection ActiveX control could not be installed.
