Instructions

    • 1

Create an Easter egg hunt hat. Use the brim of the hat as a base. Attach green Easter grass to the entire hat by using craft glue applied with a foam brush. Press the grass down so it sticks firmly, then fluff it up. To make a higher layer of grass, use craft spray adhesive over the already glued-on grass and pile more on. After the glue dries, apply the craft glue to the bottom of plastic Easter eggs, then press each one to the hat until it sticks.

Make a floral hat. Wrap a thick ribbon of the same, or a contrasting color around the base of the hat and tie it in a bow. Cutting the stems off, attach the bud portion of either artificial or real flowers to the hat. Use a hot glue gun to adhere them to the brim of the hat, or all over, depending on how festive you are feeling!

Create a bird's nest hat. Use a hot glue gun to adhere grapevine twig garland to the brim of the hat. Purchase small artificial birds and artificial bird eggs and use the hot glue gun to attach them in between the spaces of the twig garland. Avoid putting them too close to the edge so they won't fall off.

Make a jelly bean hat. Use a foam brush to apply a thick layer of craft glue to the brim of a hat. Quickly put the jelly beans on until they cover the entire surface; push them down until they stick on. Put extra glue on the edge of the hat; avoid moving the hat until the glue completely dries. Check for any loose ones and fix them, if necessary.

Create a bunny and chick hat. Wrap a thick ribbon around the brim of the hat and tie it into a bow. Buy small stuffed bunnies and chicks, then use a hot glue gun to attach them to the brim of the hat. Glue on a few or fill up the entire brim with them.
