How to Fix a Disk Boot Failure
A disk boot failure occurs when the computer is unable to load all of the necessary operating system files from your computer's hard drive into memory, preventing the operating system from starting. Repair this unfortunate occurrence by using the boot restoration tools in the operating system installation CD, which automatically fixes startup issues.

Insert the Windows disc into the system. Restart the computer.

Press any key as prompted to boot from the disc. Select your language, keyboard and current settings.

Select "Repair your computer."

Click on the "C" drive and click "Next" to repair the startup sequence.
