Launch Perfect Keylogger from your Windows Start menu and right-click the program’s system tray icon. Click “Options” to open the Options window.

Click to place or remove a checkmark next to “Run On Windows Startup.” This allows the keylogging software to automatically run when your computer boots up. Toggle the invisibility options beneath the “Invisibility” heading. You can hide the program from the Windows Start menu, startup list and task manager.

Click “Logging” in the left pane of the Options window. Click “Password” to require a password to view the Perfect Keylogger log files. Toggle the items on or off according to what you want Perfect Keylogger to save to its log files. These options include “Capture Chats,” “Capture Passwords,” “Capture Button Clicks” and “Enable Clipboard Logging.”

Select “Screenshots” in the left pane and click to remove or place a checkmark next to “Enable Visual Surveillance.” This allows you to capture screenshots of the monitored computer. Set the time between each captured screenshot and adjust the picture quality of the captured screenshots. Additionally, you can choose to automatically delete captured screenshots after a set number of days.

Click “Alerts” in the left pane of the Perfect Keylogger Options window. Click “Add Keyword” to set special keywords that trigger an automatic screen capture.

Select “Targets” in the left pane. Click “Enable Logging in All Applications” to set Perfect Keylogger to capture all input. Select the “Enable Logging In the Following Application Only” option to allow Perfect Keylogger to capture input into programs you specify. Click “Add” to specify programs you want the software to monitor.

Click “Notification” in the left pane of the Options window and place a checkmark next to “Display Notification Banner on Startup.” Edit the notification message users of your computer will see when your system starts up. This warns users that your computer is monitored by keylogging software and prevents the accidental capture of personal information such as Social Security numbers, bank account information and passwords.

Use the “Notification” feature to ensure you don’t accidentally capture unwanted information from users of your computer. Perfect Keylogger suggests that the “Notification” feature remain enabled for ethical reasons.
Never install Perfect Keylogger on a computer you don’t own without the owner’s permission.
