How to Delete System Queued Windows Error Reporting


System queued error reporting remembers information about crashes and other anomalous events occurring on your computer, forwarding the data to Microsoft to help diagnose problems. Deleting and disabling the ability of your computer to provide error reporting data helps to save a bit of space on your hard drive, and prevents your personal data from being sent to Microsoft.

  • Click "Start," type "Run" in the Search box, and press "Enter."

  • Type "gpedit.msc" and press "Enter."

  • Click through the following menus in order: "Computer Configuration," "Administrative Templates," "Systems," "Internet Communication Management," "Internet Communication Settings."

  • Select "Turn off error reporting" and choose "Enable."
