How to Export a PowerPoint Slide As JPG

How to Export a PowerPoint Slide As JPG thumbnail
PowerPoint presentations can be saved as individual picture files, called .jpgs.

PowerPoint is the presentation software in the Microsoft Office suite. It is widely used to inform and educate audiences with graphics, text and animation effects. PowerPoint slides can save the time that would normally be used to verbally explain data. If you've created a slide that you would like to save as a picture, or .jpg file, PowerPoint has export functions to do just that. You can then use the exported .jpg in another application, use it in a photo slide show or share it via e-mail or online.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the PowerPoint file to open it, then click on the slide or slides you wish to export to .jpg format.

    • 2

Select "Save As" from the menu. Click on the drop down box and choose "JPG." Name the file, then click "OK."

    • 3

Note the box that asks if you wish to export a single slide or the entire presentation. Click on "No" to export a single slide. Click "Yes" to export every slide.
