How to Program a Bluetooth Earpiece

Initial setup of the Bluetooth earpiece is required.

A Bluetooth earpiece can be programmed, or paired, to work with a mobile phone, allowing for hands-free communication. Programming the earpiece opens a secure line of communication between the two devices. Calls to your mobile phone can be answered and disconnected by pushing a button on the earpiece. Depending on the model of your Bluetooth earpiece, the programming steps may vary slightly.

Instructions

1. Charge the Bluetooth earpiece fully, then turn it on. The LED light on the earpiece should flash blue or purple.

2. Press the "Menu" key on the mobile phone, then select "Tools."

3. Select "Enable Bluetooth" or "Turn On Bluetooth." Wait for confirmation that the Bluetooth is active.

4. Select "Add Device."

5. Select the Bluetooth earpiece from the list of found devices.

6. Enter the passcode on the mobile phone for the Bluetooth earpiece, then wait for the Bluetooth earpiece to beep several times.
