on 1/17/2007 well, tried this once years ago wen a friend started choking on a morsel.. al she cudd do was make a whistling noise n trash abt holding her throat. i did it without much thot n a coupla mins later she was ok. i never gav it a thot later. but today wen my 9 year old started choking i almost had a heart attack. i had never perfected this manouver, but just did wat i saw in movies n was simultaneously running out the door carrying her. i guess i did smthing rite. the offending mouthful was puked out n she started breathing again ..half an hour later im here reading on all ur life saving measures, trying to take in all that u cudd offer. thank you for making it easy to understand
