Savin Copier Instructions
Savin copiers are manufactured by the Ricoh corporation. They are almost identical to Ricoh and Lanier copiers but differ only in the model name and Savin nameplate. All Savin copier models are consistent in their operation -- if you learn how to operate one Savin model, you'll know how to run any model.

1
Place documents to be copied face up in the document feeder. Most Savin copiers have document feeders that can hold either 50 or 100 pages, depending on the model. All documents are pulled from the document feeder and scanned on the platen glass.
-
2
Enter the special features you want applied to your copy job. Savin copiers have a touch-screen display, with all the commonly used features set as buttons. Select the features you want to apply to your copy job, such as two-sided copying, stapling, reduction or enlargements. Pressing the option key for the feature you want to use will bring up another menu with additional options. Choose your desired options and press "Done."

-
3
Enter the number of copies or sets you want. Using the keypad, enter from 1 to 999. This will set how many copies or sets of your original documents you want to be completed.
-
4
Press the green "Start" button. The documents will be scanned after passing through the document feeder. The images will be stored digitally and the copying process will begin.
-
5
Remove completed copies. Once the Savin has completed the job, remove your copies from the exit tray.
