How to Enable Integrated Windows Authentication in Internet Explorer 7
Integrated Windows Authentication is a way of encrypting a Windows user name and password across a network using Internet Explorer. If your Web server's administrator has enabled Integrated Windows Authentication on a resource, this means that you will need to provide the user name and password you use to log into a Windows computer on the network providing the website. This feature is often used in corporate and university environments to restrict access to websites to those with valid logins to the organization's computers. Integrated Windows Authentication is supported in Internet Explorer 7 and can be turned on in its settings.
