The Kenmore 587 Series dishwashers are a line of dishwashers meant for residential use and distributed primarily through the Sears Roebuck Company. The dishwashers carry a 1-year repair warranty and a 10-year warranty against leaks inside the dishwasher tub and inner door panel. The dishwasher should perform well once professionally installed but problems may occasionally occur, such as blinking lights on the unit. Troubleshooting this issue requires a few steps to identify the cause.
Things You'll Need
- Power supply
Avoid stopping the dishwasher during the wash cycle. The "Washing" light will blink if the wash cycle is stopped.
Wait for the drying cycle to complete if the "Drying" light is blinking.
Run the "Sanitize" cycle again if the "Sanitize" light blinks or does not come on after the "Sanitize" cycle was selected. An error may occur if the cycle is stopped before it has completed.
Contact an authorized service technician if the above steps do not resolve the issue.
