How Do I Remove a Honda Civic CRX del Sol's Front Bumper?

The Honda Civic CRX del Sol is a compact car that is very popular among tuner enthusiasts. There are many modifications available for the del Sol, including aftermarket headlights, carbon fiber hoods, rear spoilers and body kits. The front bumper must be removed when installing a body kit, or when replacing it with an aftermarket bumper.

      Open the hood of the Honda.

      Remove the eight screws located at the top edge of the front bumper, using a Philips screwdriver, counterclockwise.

      Pull and remove the wheel lining located underneath both wheel arches of the front wheels, in order to gain access to both of the screws found at each side of the bumper. Turn the wheels to get a better reach and remove the two screws using a Philips screwdriver, counterclockwise.

      Remove the two bolts located at the bottom edge of the front bumper, using a wrench, counterclockwise.

      Pull and slide off the front bumper of the del Sol.
