How to Burn a DVD in Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player allows you to burn only data DVDs, not video DVDs. Similar to a USB flash drive or memory card, a data DVD can be used to transfer files from one computer to another. A data DVD will not work on a DVD player. You can add any kind of file type to a data DVD, and as many files as the DVD will hold.
