How to Move Icons on My Computer Screen
By default your computer has some icons already placed on its desktop like the Recycle Bin and My Computer. You can add additional shortcuts to other frequently used programs on your desktop as well. You might want to arrange the order that your icons are in to suit your preferences. Luckily, you can move icons on your computer screen with ease.

Click on the icon on your computer screen that you want to move. Hold down the click.

Drag the icon to where you want to place it on your computer screen.

Release the click to drop the icon where you want it to be.

Tips & Warnings
Select from preset arrangements by right-clicking an empty area of the desktop, scrolling to "Arrange Icons By" and selecting the setting of your choice.
If your icons are arranged to the grid, you won't be able to move them anywhere on your computer screen. Right-click anywhere on the desktop and click on "Arrange to Grid" to remove the check mark next to it if you can't move your icons.
