How to Wear Sheer Tops
Sheer tops are soft, romantic and very feminine. They come in delicate fabrics such as chiffon, and are light and airy. Pick one in a muted color for a dreamy, fairytale look or a dark color for a sexier appearance. Modesty demands that you wear something over or under a sheer top. Tanks, camisoles and tube tops are options to wear underneath. Layer a vest, cardigan or jacket over a sheer top. With a little planning, you can wear a sheer top with style.

Combine a sheer top with a camisole underneath. Pick a camisole that is close to the color of the sheer top for a monochromatic look. If the sheer blouse is black, wear a black camisole. If the top is a light color, use a light or nude-colored camisole. Choose a simple camisole without lace or other trims that might detract from the blouse.

Hide extra weight around the middle by wearing a long tank top under a sheer blouse. Pants or a skirt with a higher waist will also add coverage around the midsection. For even more figure enhancement consider wearing a body shaper.
