How to Create a Cycle With Creatine & No Xplode

Creatine is a popular weightlifting supplement used to provide short-term increases in energy, strength and muscle building. NO-Xplode by BSN is a pre-workout supplement designed to improve physical and mental energy, as well as increased muscle pumps. Since NO-Xplode already contains a proprietary blend with creatine, cycling these two products together can improve training intensity and muscle building. Creatine is often taken in five week cycles with loading, maintenance and non-use phases, while NO-Xplode can be used every day for 12 weeks, as long as you do not exceed 3 scoops per day.

Training Days During Creatine Loading Phase

Mix 1 scoop of NO-Xplode with 5 to 6 oz of cold water and drink 30 to 45 minutes before your workout. Add more scoops (and water) as your tolerance increases. Use approximately 5 to 6 oz of water per 1 scoop of powder.

Mix 5 grams of creatine monohydrate with the NO-Xplode. Creatine monohydrate does not dissolve, so stir it before every sip so it does not settle at the bottom.

Following your workout, mix 10 grams of creatine in a protein shake.

Mix 10 grams of creatine in juice or a sports beverage at night. During the loading phase, you should be taking between 20 to 30 grams of creatine for 4 to 7 days in order to saturate your muscles.

Non-Training Days During Maintenance Phase

Mix 1 scoop of NO-Xplode with 5 to 6 oz cold water and 5 grams of creatine monohydrate during non-training days. Drink on an empty stomach. Consume 5 to 10 grams of creatine per day for three weeks during the maintenance phase.

Following your workout, mix 5 grams of creatine monohydrate in a protein shake.

Stop taking creatine for one week after the three week maintenance phase is complete, but continue to use NO-Xplode on training and non-training days, as desired.

Tips & Warnings

  • Some people feel the effects of creatine within 5 to 15 minutes of ingestion. For others, it takes 30 to 45 minutes. NO-Xplode's maximum effects are typically felt 1 to 5 hours after ingestion.
  • It is not necessary to take NO-Xplode on non-training days, although some do so to keep their daily creatine consumption up.
  • After 12 weeks of using BSN NO-Xplode, discontinue use for at least 4 weeks.
