How to Troubleshoot a Targus Bluetooth Mouse
The Targus Bluetooth mouse connects to your computer via Bluetooth signals. It does not require any cords, making it convenient for users who do not have much space around their computers. Occasionally you may notice that your Bluetooth mouse is acting erratically or not functioning at all. Before buying a new one, you may want to troubleshoot certain issues that tend to arise with Bluetooth accessories from time to time.

Restart your computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can troubleshoot issues with Bluetooth mice and keyboards.

Replace the mouse's batteries if the existing batteries are more than a year old.

Locate the Bluetooth icon at the bottom right corner of your screen, next to the clock. Right-click on it and select "Open Bluetooth Settings." Click on the tab labeled "Options." Place a check mark next to "Turn discovery on." Click on "Apply." Also, make sure there is a check mark next to "Allow Bluetooth devices to connect to this computer." Click on "Apply."

Launch Device Manager by clicking on the Start menu and selecting "Run." Type without the quotes "devmgmt.msc" and press "Enter." Locate the entry "Bluetooth USB." Click on the plus sign next to it. Right-click on your Targus Bluetooth mouse and select "Disable." Wait for a few seconds, right-click again and select "Enable."
