How to Enable JavaScript on Your Laptop
JavaScript is a type of computer programming language used in Internet websites. If JavaScript is not enabled on your laptop computer's Web browser, the utility won't be able to properly display elements of pages written in this programming language. In the native Web browser of the Microsoft Windows operating system (called "Internet Explorer"), JavaScript can be enabled with a minimal amount of mouse clicks.

Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the version of the Internet Explorer operating system running on your laptop computer.

Click "Internet Options."

Click the "Security" tab. Move your mouse cursor over and click on the button labeled "Custom Level."

Scroll down to "Active Scripting" and click "Enable."

Click "Apply." JavaScript is now enabled on your laptop computer.
