How to Replace the Cabin Air Filter in a 2008 Honda Odyssey

Driving on dirt roads can cause the filter to become dirty more quickly.

The 2008 Honda Odyssey minivan contains a cabin air filter located on the inside of the dash. The cabin air filter cleans the air before it enters the passenger compartment from the air conditioning system. Honda recommends replacing the cabin filter in the Odyssey after every 10,000 miles driven or once every 12 months. Frequent driving in dusty conditions or driving in dense traffic will shorten the life span of each cabin air filter, requiring that be replaced more often. A clean cabin air filter increases air flow through the air conditioning system.
