How to Cancel Limewire Pro
LimeWire is a popular file-sharing program that allows you to connect to the Gnutella network to download content including music, videos and images from other users connected to the same network. The Pro version offers better search results than the basic version, along with faster searches and download speeds. LimeWire offers a trial period for the Pro version. When your trial period runs out, you can cancel LimeWire pro and revert to the basic version if you are not interested in paying for the program.

Go to the LimeWire Pro Cancel Free Trial Page (see Resources).

Type the e-mail address you used to sign up for the Pro version, and then enter your program's license key. Click the "Forgot your license key" link if you do not remember your license key, and then type your e-mail address in the e-mail address box. LimeWire sends the license key your inbox.

Logon to your e-mail application, open the e-mail from LimeWire and write down the your license key. Go back to the LimeWire Pro cancel page and enter the license key in the "License Key" box. Click the "Submit" button, and then confirm that you want to cancel the Pro Trial version. Once Pro is canceled, LimeWire reverts to the basic version.
