Instructions

  1. Upsweep

    • 1

Set your hair on hot rollers. Use the large rollers and curl the rollers under. Spray them lightly with hair spray and remove the rollers after they have cooled.

    • 2

Brush your hair up and away from your face toward the back of your head using your fingers.

    • 3

Gather the hair at the back of the head, holding it like a ponytail in one hand. The ponytail should be in the middle of the head.

    • 4

Twist the ponytail by turning it clockwise. Wind the ponytail several times.

    • 5

Slide a comb into the left side of the twist to secure it. Arrange the curls at the back and top of the head. Spray them with hair spray to keep them in place.

    Duo Ponytails

    • 6

Straighten your short to medium hair with a flat iron.

    • 7

Section off the top half of your hair and pull it up with an alligator clip.

    • 8

Comb back the bottom half of the hair into a short ponytail. The ponytail should be slightly to the left of the center of your head. Keep the ponytail low.

    • 9

Slide a stylish black elastic band over the ponytail to keep it in place.

    • 10

Release the top portion of the hair and comb it back for a second ponytail. Pile the second ponytail on top of the first and secure it with an elastic band.

    • 11

Arrange your bangs, if you have any, in a sweep to the side. Spray the hair to keep it in place.
