How to Move Icons on a Task Bar
The task bar is a component of the Windows operating system. The function of the task bar is to store commonly used icons for easy access. You can add an icon for almost any program you want to use on the task bar. If you find you need to better organize your icons, it is very easy to move the icons on the task bar.

Hover the mouse pointer over the icon you wish to move.

Click on the icon using the left hand mouse button. Hold the button down after clicking on the icon.

Drag the icon left or right across the task bar. You will see a divider graphic letting you know where the icon you are moving will be located after you release the mouse button. When you are comfortable with the location of the icon, release the left mouse button and the icon will stay in the place you left it.
