How to Access Proxy Servers

How to Access Proxy Servers thumbnail
It's easy to set up your browser to connect to a proxy server.

You can configure your Web browser to connect to the Internet through a particular proxy server. The proxy server acts as an intermediary between your computer and the Internet server associated with the current Web address you're visiting. This allows you to "hide" your computer behind the proxy server. The proxy server can also be used as an additional shield to protect your computer from viruses. Your proxy server may impose certain restrictions, such as blocking your access to some websites.
