How do I Cure Acne With Proactiv & Murad?

A person plagued by acne should use a skincare product specially designed to heal it.

Instructions

Using Murad

1. Cleanse with Murad clarifying cleanser. Wet the hands and face with warm water and spread a dime-sized amount of the cleanser on the face and neck. Do not use a towel. The cleanser contains salicylic acid, a natural exfoliant that kills bacteria causing the acne. The green tea in the cleanser calms skin inflamed with acne lesions. Rinse the skin and blot it dry with a soft cloth.

2. Apply a dime-sized amount of the Murad exfoliating acne treatment gel into the skin. The Retinol, glycolic and salicylic acid stimulate cellular turnover of skin, which helps unclogged blocked pores that lead to acne. Licorice extract, chamomile extract and aloe vera calm inflammation.

3. Smooth a dime-sized amount of Murad skin perfecting lotion over the skin at night. The treatment cream contains retinal, a vitamin A derivative that encourages the growth of new skin cells.

4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 morning and night.

Using Proactiv

1. Wet your hands and face with warm water and massage a dime-sized dollop of the Proactiv renewing cleanser into the skin for one or two minutes. The cleanser has exfoliating grains to remove dead skin, and benzoyl peroxide to kill the acne bacteria. Rinse with warm water, making sure to remove all of the grains. Blot the skin dry with a clean soft cloth.

2. Apply a dime-sized amount of Proactiv revitalizing toner with a cotton ball or pad. Gently dab it into the skin and allow it to dry. The allantoin stimulates the growth of new healthy skin tissues.

3. Smooth a dime-sized drop of Proactiv repairing treatment to your face. It contains a dose of benzoyl peroxide to kill bacteria, healing blemishes and preventing additional flare-ups.

4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 morning and night.

Tips & Warnings

• If using the Proactiv system, apply the refining mask two times a week after the repairing treatment. It contains sulfur, which also kills acne bacteria.

• During the daytime, use Murad oil free sun block SPF 30 or the Proactive Oil Free Moisture with SPF as Step 2 or immediately after.

• Acne skin sometimes becomes irritated or dehydrated as the treatment begins to work. Use the Proactiv green tea moisturizer to deep moisturize and sooth the symptoms of dehydrated skin. Do this step after Step 2.

• Proactiv products use benzoyl peroxide to cure acne. Don't use it if you have an allergy to benzoyl peroxide. Murad may be the better skincare line for you.

• Do not get the Renewing cleanser or repairing treatment on the clothes since it can bleach the color from fabrics.
