How do I Stop the Beep in VMware?
Imagine running another version of Windows inside a minimized window as you work in XP, Vista, or Windows 7. VMware produces virtualization software that allows users to accomplish this task. Simply install a VMware virtual machine, add an operating system to it, and that OS will run inside your existing one. Unfortunately, the computer's speaker may beep when you add an operating system to VMware. Add an entry to VMware's configuration file to disable this beep.
