1
Purchase foam wrap and athletic tape from a local athletic supply store or online marketplace.
-
2
Using the foam wrap first, wrap your wrist two to three times around. Make sure the material is tight, but not so tight as to cut off circulation or to be uncomfortable.
-
3
Take the wrap diagonally and go through the thumb and index finger two to three times. You can stop here, or for added support, wrap in between each finger, covering the knuckles each time you go around.

After you've completed the rest of your hand, wrap around your wrist an additional two to three times, as this is where most of your support is going. At this point, you can cut the foam and proceed to applying the tape. It also helps to tuck in the excess foam before applying the tape.

5
Apply the tape directly over the foam, following the same pattern. Avoid contact with your skin for easy removal.
