How to Make a Certificate Template
Certificate templates can be a great tool to use when rewarding your work group for their successes. These templates can be downloaded from software on your computer or by using online templates. You can customize certificate templates by adding your own text, pictures and logos. When the customization is done, you can print them or save them for future use. Using templates saves you time because the bulk of the design is done for you. You can spend more time on the content and supplies preparation.

Start Word 2007 and open the template gallery. Select the "Office" button and select "New."

Click the "Award Certificate" category in the left task pane. When the subcategories appear, select one. Search the subcategories and pick a template by clicking on it. Select "Download." The template will download to your computer.

Customize the template by adding your text, images and logos. Save the template by clicking on the "Save" icon on the Quick Access toolbar.

Log into the Google Documents template gallery. Type "Certificate" in the search box.
