How to View a Remote Computer Screen
Being able to remotely view a computer screen and control that computer just like you are physically sitting in front of it is a powerful ability, particularly if you need to access some information on a computer that you can't easily get to. Microsoft includes a program on the Windows operating system called the Remote Desktop Connection that lets you view and control a remote computer through network and Internet connections.

Open your computer's start menu and click on the "All Programs" section. Click "Accessories" and then open the "Remote Desktop Connection" client.

Type in the name of the remote computer or its IP address in the Remote Desktop Connection window.
