If you're out of lives in a multiplayer match, get back into the fight with the following trick.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Go to the main menu and select to play a team multiplayer match.

  2. Step 2

Play the match with a teammate, and play against an individual opponent or another team.

  3. Step 3

Press the A button, B button, Z button (trigger) and Start button simultaneously once your character has been defeated. This will allow you to take one life from your teammate and be reactivated in the match. This only works if your teammate has an extra life to spare.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to ask permission from your teammate before taking a life. Your teammate may not appreciate your reactivating yourself at his or her expense.
  • If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

on 11/22/2005 First, go on "1 player." If you want to get him quick, you must go on "very easy," and have at least 3 lives. If you get rid of all of your lives, go to "Do you want to continue?" and select "No." Now, try again. Tip: You have to be quite good at fighting.

on 11/22/2005 Well, if you die before your ally, and he doesn't want you to have another life; listen to them, for a while. When they have 2 lives left and you see their character get hit hard enough that they will be killed shortly, hit start quickly. You'll steal one life, leave them with one, but then they'll die, be eliminated, and YOU will have one life.
