How to Make Plastic Plates
Plastic plates can be cut out of sheets of vinyl or other types of medium-to-hard plastic using an adjustable hole cutter. Such cutters are usually geared for cutting the vinyl siding found on the exterior of some homes, or for cutting the plastic on ducts in homes. These tools generally cut from 1/2-inch up to 8-inch circles, so you can create plastic plates for your dolls, your pets or yourself. Eight inches is a standard size for small dinner plates. Once the material is cut, you merely need to sand the edges and you'll be on your way to quickly creating a stack of homemade plastic plates.
