How do I Configure a Westell B90-36R515 DSL Modem?
Since the Westell B90-36R515 is a plug-and-play modem, configuring it is as easy as setting it up and plugging it in. Once you've done that, the modem configures itself automatically. Note that Westell has discontinued the B90-36R515 and no longer offers technical support for it.

A typical Ethernet cable. Plug an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the rear-right side of the B90 DSL modem.
-
2
Plug the other end into an Ethernet port on your computer.

-
3
Connect the telephone cable that came with the modem to a phone jack and plug the other end into the "LINE" jack on the DSL modem.
-
4
Unplug phones, fax machines and other devices connected to phone outlets in your house. Plug DSL filters into each of these phone outlets, then plug the devices into the DSL filters. Do not put a filter on the phone outlet used by your modem.
-
5
Plug in the B90's power supply and put the switch on the back of the modem to the "I" position to turn it on. Wait for 2 minutes while the modem connects to the Internet. When the "Power," "Ready" and "Link" lights on the modem turn a steady green, your Westell B90 DSL modem is configured.
