Finding ringtones for your Samsung cell phone is not too difficult. Several websites on the Internet offer Samsung ringtones that you can download. You won't have to pay a fee for the songs or join a ringtone service. After you have selected a free ringtone for your Samsung cell phone, use Bluetooth on your computer to transfer the ringtone to your phone.

Step 1

Download free ringtones for your Samsung cell phone from the Internet (see Resources). Look for ringtones that are saved in file formats MP3, WMA or OGG and no larger than 300 kilobytes in size. Follow the website's instructions for selecting a ringtone. Choose the model of your Samsung cell phone from the menu list.

Step 2

Click on the art image or text hyperlink for the ringtone that you want to hear on your phone. Click the "Download" button. After a few seconds a pop-up box appears on your desktop. Click the "Save" button to download the ringtone on your computer.

Step 3

Activate Bluetooth on your computer and cell phone. Make certain that your cell phone is within range and less than 30 feet away from your computer. Enter a four or six-digit passcode on your computer. Bluetooth searches for your cell phone and prompts you to enter a passcode. Enter the same four or six-digit passcode that you used on your computer to pair both devices.

Step 4

Locate the file path where you saved the ringtone on your computer. Right-click on the ringtone file name. Select "Bluetooth" from the shortcut menu to transfer the ringtone from your computer to your Samsung cell phone.

Step 5

Wait until you hear an alert sound on your cell phone indicating that the transfer was successful.
