How do I Clean the Filter on the Vidal Sassoon Ionic Sensor Touch Hair Dryer?
The Vidal Sassoon Ionic Sensor Touch Hair Dryer is one of the first of its kind: The sensor touch will automatically turn the hair dryer on when you pick it up and shut it off when you put it down. Like most hair dryers, hair and debris can get lodged in the filter of the hair dryer. This hair dryer allows you to remove the backing over the filter for easy cleaning. Does this Spark an idea?

Turn the hair dryer off and unplug it. You never want to clean the filter of the hair dryer while it is still on.

Pinch the small buttons on either side of the filter cover to open the cover.

Hold on to the handle of the hair dryer with your non-dominant hand. With your other hand, slide the cover from the hair dryer to expose the filter.

Insert the end of a rat tail comb or a bobby pin in the top of the filter. Sweep the top row of the filter with the comb end or bobby pin to remove the hair and debris. Discard the hair and debris.

Continue to sweep the comb end or bobby pins through the several rows of the filter until all hair and debris is removed.

Dampen a sponge, very lightly, and wipe off the filter with the sponge.

Allow the filter to dry completely. Pull the filter cage back up and snap it in place.
