How to View a Computer Monitor When Using a Data Projector
A computer connected to a data projector can be used for presentations to a large audience where gathering around a standard monitor would be impractical. It's convenient to have the smaller monitor close by and active for viewing while working at the keyboard or mouse as well. Desktop keyboards and laptops are equipped with a hotkey to switch on the monitor or built-in screen on a laptop while the computer is connected to a projector.
