How Can Remote Outlook Clients Access Mails From an Exchange Server

Microsoft Exchange allows you to synchronize information such as contacts and email at your workplace. However, when you're out and about away from work and you need to connect to your Exchange server, you're not out of luck either. Microsoft Outlook connects to Exchange servers so you can continue accessing your mail.

      Click the "Start" menu and click on "Control Panel."

      Double-click the "Mail" module in the Control Panel.

      Click "Show Profiles" in the "Profiles" tab.

      Click on "Add," then type a name for your profile.

      Click on "E-Mail" accounts, then click "New."

      Click on "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP account," and then click "Next."

      Check the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" checkbox, and then click "Next." Click "Microsoft Exchange" at the next window.

      Enter the name given to you by your Exchange administrator, then enter your username and password.
