How to Build a Website Using Dreamweaver & Flash thumbnail
Dreamweaver allows website developers to incorporate Flash elements.

Dreamweaver and Flash were developed by Macromedia, which was bought out by Adobe in 2005. The programs are written using a language called C++. Flash is used to create animated website elements and Dreamweaver is a website design tool. Dreamweaver allows websites to be edited through code and a graphical interface at the same time.

Instructions

    • 1

Publish the desired website elements in Flash. These should be saved as ".swf" files.

    • 2

Open your website in Dreamweaver. This will typically be an ".html" file.

    • 3

Click on the "Insert" menu. Click on the "Media" menu and select the "Flash" option. This opens an interface which allows you to select the Flash file.

    • 4

Select the Flash file you wish to add to the website.

    • 5

Edit the website in Dreamweaver to position the Flash movie and make any other desired changes before uploading the new site to your web host.
