How to Take Apart a Confetti Popper

Confetti poppers are filled with various types of confetti.

Dismantle a confetti popper either before or after it's been used. When you can safely dismantle the popper depends on the type. Poppers with gunpowder need to be detonated before dismantling. Point that type away from the face while popping. Other types tear paper or coverings when popped. For these types, it's better to dismantle before popping to avoid ruining the outside of it. The process makes a mess, so it's helpful to have a trashcan available.

Instructions

1. Pop the confetti popper over a trash can, if necessary.

2. Untie ribbons and strings holding the popper together.

3. Remove any outer wrappings.

4. Tilt one end of the popper. Gently shake it to remove the confetti.
