How to Share Web Pages thumbnail
Share interesting Web pages online.

The Internet is full of funny, interesting and entertaining videos, pictures and articles. While you may enjoy the content on your own, it is also fun to share the links with other people. If you share with others, you will probably receive entertaining links in return. Websites have made sharing information very easy, especially with the growth of social networks.

Instructions

    • 1

Send an e-mail with a link to the page you want to share. Open up your e-mail inbox, select to compose a new message, put a quick description of what you are sending in the subject line and include the link in the body of your email. Add your desired recipients, and click send.

Post a link to the Web page you want to share on a social network. Log in to Facebook, click on the box that says "What's on Your Mind?" at the top of the window and paste the link to the site you want to share. Facebook will automatically embed the website onto the news feed. Post the link on Twitter under the "What's Happening?" header. It is best to shorten the link using a website like tinyurl.com or bit.ly so you can conserve your 140 characters for a description of the link. Your friends and followers can now see your link.

Click the link that says "share" on most content websites, which will bring up multiple options for sharing the Web page. Generally the list includes an e-mail option, along with social networks and voting sites like Digg. This is a simpler, streamlined way to share content that you find interesting.

Talk about the Web page you want to share and spread it through word of mouth in conversations. This is not always reliable, as your conversation partner will have to remember the link details or title of the Web page instead of just clicking on a link. At the very least, your friend could e-mail and ask for the link later.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always copy and paste links to avoid any misspellings.

  • Do not over-share links, as people tend to get overwhelmed by too much information coming from one person. Limit link-sharing to one to two posts or e-mails per day.
