How to View Contacts by Email Address

Sign in and find a contact by email address.

It's easy to view contacts by email address. Email providers such as Windows Live Hotmail, Yahoo! and Gmail provide "Contact" folders, which allow you to manage contacts directly from your email account. Edit details in your contacts list or delete contacts you no longer need as often as you like.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your email account with your username and password.

2. Click on the "Contacts" tab located on the top menu bar of your Yahoo! page. For a Windows Live Hotmail account, click on the "Contact List" link, which is located on the left-side margin. Gmail users must click on the "Contacts" link, which is located on the left-side of the computer screen.

3. Click inside the search box and enter a complete email address. For example, type in [e-mail].

4. Click on the search icon. Once you find the person or company you are looking for, click "Edit" to update contact information or "Delete" to remove contact information. Click on the contact link to compose a new email.
