How to Update LimeWire Pro

LimeWire PRO is an advanced version of the LimeWire file-sharing program that allows users to download files at a faster speed than the basic version. Instructions

1. Double-click your LimeWire PRO desktop icon to launch the application.

2. Wait until you have maintained a stable connection to the LimeWire servers. If there is a newer version of LimeWire PRO, you will see a small box pop up over the main application window.

3. Click "Update Now" if you would like to update to the newer version of LimeWire PRO. Your browser will open and a new Web page will appear.

4. Enter your email address into the information field on the page below "Update your LimeWire PRO." Select "Submit," and you will be redirected to the website that enables you to download the update.

5. Click "Install" and wait for it to download before opening your new version of LimeWire PRO.

Tips & Warnings

• If you would prefer to use your current version of LimeWire PRO, make sure you click the "Update Later" button instead.

• Keep in mind that the actual speed of your LimeWire PRO downloads will depend upon the speed of your Internet connection.
