How to Install SQL Server 2008 Management Studio
The SQL Server 2008 Management Studio application provides an interface to your database server computer. Management Studio uses what is known as a Structured Query Language (SQL) editor to run code for your database server, a user-permissions section to lock down the database, and a design wizard to help create the tables and views for your database. This software is available from your SQL Server installation CD.
