How to Use a Logitech Webcam
Before you can use a Logitech webcam you must install the proper drivers from the manufacturer. While generic drivers may suffice for your model, you still won't get the most functionality out of your hardware until you obtain the specific drivers from Logitech. You probably have an installation disk that came with the camera, but the drivers may be out of date. It's best to obtain the latest version online, from Logitech's website. After properly installing the necessary drivers, any application that makes use of your camera should do so without issue.

Navigate to Logitech's webcam support page.

Select your webcam model from the drop down list. Find your model number in the users manual or on the bottom of certain webcams.

Click the "Downloads" tab and select your operating system.

Click the "Download Software" button to begin downloading the software specific to your webcam.

Connect the camera to your computer via the cable provided by Logitech; this is typically a USB cable.

Open the downloaded file to start the installation program. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Open the software that utilizes your webcam; it should now work properly. Make sure nothing is obstructing the camera's view and there is enough light in the room for it to detect visuals.
