How to Rotate an MP4 in QuickTime
MP4 videos (MPEG-4s) are one of the standard video formats supported by QuickTime Player and QuickTime Pro. Any video that can play in QuickTime can be flipped or rotated 90 degrees to 180 degrees simply by editing the movie's properties. Users can transform the resolution (amount of pixels) and alter the original video's aspect ratio after rotating the video to preserve its quality. Note that rotating a video 90 degrees will result in a longer vertical picture than its original if the aspect ratio and resolution are left unchanged.
