How to Recover From a Deleted SD Card
If you accidentally delete the files on your SD card, do not get alarmed. There are several different programs that will recover your precious files. Two are free, while the third one is a pay version. All will recover deleted files, but they all have different options which make them all important programs. Determine which one is the best for you.

Download Recuva. It will scan your SD card for recently deleted files. Select the SD drive from the drop-down box and the program will begin scanning the drive for recently deleted. Check the check box on the files you want to recover and press "Recover." The program is free.

Download the free EASEUS Deleted File Recovery program. It can only recover files that have been deleted. It will not recover files that have been reformatted. After you select the SD card, pick the files you want to recover. Images have a thumbnail, which makes it easier to choose what files you want to recover.

Buy eIMAGE Recovery for $27 as of 2010. The best feature of the program is that it will recover data from previous reformats. Select the file formats that you want to look for or simply search for all formats, then scan.

Tips & Warnings
A computer with an SD card reader is required to recover the files.
Never pull the SD card out of the drive while it is scanning. This will corrupt all files on the card.
