The iCal application is the default calendar management tool in the Mac OS X operating system. With the release of OS X Snow Leopard, Mac users can now synchronize Google Calendar accounts in iCal. After configuring the Google Calendar account, events will show up in the main iCal window and users will also be able to specify delegates and change other calendar settings.

      Launch the iCal application by clicking on the icon in the Dock.

      Go to the "iCal" menu at the top of the screen and select "Preferences."

      Navigate to the "Accounts" tab at the top of the "Preferences" window.

      Click on the small plus symbol in the lower-left corner of the window.

      Select "Google" from the "Account type" drop-down menu.

      Fill in your Google email address and password in the appropriate fields.

      Click on the "Create" button and wait for iCal to connect to your Google account and sync your calendar data.
