How to Hide Internet Search History

How to Hide Internet Search History thumbnail
A web browser can be set to keep private a user's Internet history.

When surfing the Internet, the web browser stores some of the information on visited websites as history files. Web browsers store these files to enhance the browsing experience. However, history files can expose sensitive private information. Fix this problem by enabling "Private Browsing." This feature prevents history files from being saved as a user views websites. Private Browsing is available with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer web browsers.
