How to Erase Files on a DVD-RW

How to Erase Files on a DVD-RW thumbnail
The files on a DVD-RW can be deleted just like files on a hard drive.

DVD-RW is a rewritable format, so you can burn and delete files on the disc thousands of times over. This is great for people who want to use a disc once to watch a movie, but then wipe it clean to put something else on it. For some, though, erasing a DVD-RW can be a little difficult at first. Thankfully, you don't need any additional software to delete files off of a DVD-RW; you just need to know where to go.
