How to Insert a Google Search Bar
Google is one of the most popular search engines on the Internet and is particularly user friendly. You may like the Google search bar so much that you’d like to add it to your website. By signing up for a Google AdWords account you can have access to many tools and codes for inserting Google objects on your page, include the Google search bar. Also, with AdWords you can add words to the Google search engine that help customers find specified websites relating to your business more quickly.

Go to the Google website (See Resources). Click on the “Sign in” button fat the top right corner of the page.

Enter your email address and password in the text fields and click on the “Sign in” button. Click on the “Settings” option and then click on the “Google Account Settings” option.

Click on the “AdWords” option and sign up for the AdWords product if you don’t already have it added to your Google account.

Click on the “My Account” option from the top right corner of the page and then click on the “AdWords” option below the “My Products” section.

Click on the “Adwords for search” option and then highlight the Javascript code. Right-click on the code and click on the “Copy” option.

Go to the place on your page where you want to add the Google search bar and then right-click in the area to add the code. Click on the “Paste” option and save your changes.
