How to Make Google India as a Homepage

Customized Internet surfing options are a must-have feature in today's competitive web browser market. Popular web browsers allow users to edit options, add on widgets and protect their privacy. Customizing your web browser also makes locating your favorite websites easier. If you want Google India as your homepage, you can set it up from the main program window of your browser.

Instructions

Internet Explorer 7 and 8

1. Open your Internet Explorer and navigate to the Google India website.

2. Click the arrow to the right of the "Home" button on your IE toolbar. Select "Add or Change Home Page" from the drop-down menu. The Add or Change dialog box will open.

3. Select the "Use this webpage as your only home page" option.

4. Click the "Yes" button to save your changes and exit.

Firefox

1. Open Firefox and navigate to the Google India website.

2. Click and drag the small Google icon to the left of the web address field. Drop it on the "Home" button.

3. Select "Yes" from the confirmation prompt that appears.
